GrandTechCare ("we," "us," or "our") provides in-home technology help for older adults. This policy explains what information we collect when you reach out to us or request a visit, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it the same way we try to do everything else — in plain language, without the jargon.

Information We Collect

We only collect information that you choose to give us. We do not have any tracking, advertising, or analytics scripts on this site, and we don't collect information passively beyond what's described below.

Contact Form

When you send us a message through our contact form, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • The topic you need help with, selected from a list
  • Your message, describing what's going on

Booking Request Form

When you request a visit, we collect:

  • Name and phone number
  • Email address (optional)
  • Service address, so we know where to send a specialist
  • Reason for your visit and your preferred visit length
  • Preferred day(s) and time(s) for your visit
  • Any additional notes you choose to share, such as gate codes or details about your device

Spam & Bot Protection

Both forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that a submission is coming from a real person rather than an automated bot. As part of this check, Cloudflare may process limited technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics. We do not see or store this information ourselves — it's handled directly between your browser and Cloudflare for verification purposes only.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your questions and messages
  • Schedule, confirm, and prepare for in-home visits
  • Call or email you to confirm the exact day and time of a requested visit
  • Keep basic records of past inquiries and visits so we can provide better service
  • Communicate with you about your visit, such as rescheduling or follow-up questions

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build profiles about you for marketing purposes.

How Your Information Is Stored

Contact and booking form submissions are processed and stored using Google Forms and related Google services. This means your submission is transmitted to and stored on Google's servers, subject to Google's own privacy policy. Only authorized GrandTechCare team members have access to this information.

We are not affiliated with Google or Cloudflare. We use their services because they're reliable and secure, the same way we'd use a phone line or a filing cabinet — they're tools we use to do our job, not partners we share your information with for their own purposes.

Third-Party Services We Use

  • Google Forms — collects and stores contact and booking submissions
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — verifies that form submissions are coming from real visitors, not bots
  • Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used on this site; your browser may request these fonts directly from Google when you visit

Each of these providers may process limited technical data (like an IP address) as part of delivering their service to us. We don't control how they handle that data beyond what's described in their own privacy policies.

Cookies

We don't use cookies for advertising or tracking. The third-party services above (Google Forms, Cloudflare Turnstile, Google Fonts) may set their own cookies or use similar technologies as part of how they operate; those are governed by their respective privacy policies, not ours.

Data Retention

We keep contact and booking information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide the requested service, and maintain basic business records. If you'd like us to delete your information sooner, just ask — see "Your Choices" below.

Your Choices

You can:

  • Ask us what information we have on file for you
  • Ask us to correct or update your information
  • Ask us to delete your information from our records
  • Opt out of future communications from us at any time

Children's Privacy

GrandTechCare's services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.

We Do Not Sell Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, including relying on established providers (Google, Cloudflare) that maintain their own security practices for the data they process on our behalf. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example as our services or the tools we use change. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
